Son Of A Man But Not Manson
Author Marlin Marynick Reveals Inside Information About Separate DNA Test

Maybe Matthew Roberts thinks "denial" is a big river that flows through Africa because he shows no sign of understanding he is not the son of Charles Manson.
After gaining world-wide attention from the possibility of being Charles Manson's son, Matthew Roberts also appeared on TLB Radio a few years ago to talk about that interesting possibility.
According to Roberts, his mother was involved in an orgy in the 60's that included Manson.
Given what he was told by his mother and his physical resemblance of Manson, I, at that time, certainly understood why Roberts would think and pursue the possibility of Manson being his father.
Soon after the TLB Radio interview, CNN conducted a DNA test with Roberts and Manson's grandson, Jason Freeman. The test result was negative.
No DNA match. End of story except Roberts has continued to tell anyone who will listen that he is still Charles Manson's son.
Most know that part of the story but as the great Paul Harvey would say, "Now, hear the rest of the story".
Apparently, the DNA test involving Manson's grandson wasn't convincing enough for Roberts as he told CNN, unless he sees "somebody scrape a piece of skin off Manson's ass and bring it to a lab," he can't be sure if Manson is his father.
Well I don't know if it was scraped off Manson's ass but Manson's DNA was brought to a lab.
In an amazing revelation, Marlin Marynick, author of the book, "Charles Manson Now" and friend of Roberts, appeared on TLB Radio this past week and revealed that he orchestrated a separate, private DNA test with DNA obtained directly from Manson.
The results were double-checked and also came back negative confirming the CNN test.

Perhaps it is because Roberts claims a later DNA test was done and confirmed Manson as his father ? If that is true, why doesn't Roberts bring someone forward to corroborate such claim ?
If I was Roberts and got the call that the results were positive and I was Manson's son, that is when I would want the camera's rolling as I went down to the lab. I would want those results publicized ala' the CNN results.
Thankfully, I'm not Matthew Roberts but I am challenging his claim of any positive DNA result confirming him to be Charles Manson's son.
No, I'm leaning toward another explanation aside from delusional, as to why Roberts is still claiming Manson as his father. Money. What else ?
While I have yet to see Star (Afton Burton) attempt any personal capitalization off Manson, I have seen where Roberts and others clearly try to fraudulently make money off the Manson phenomenon.
But what is even worse, in my opinion, is sinking to the point of lying about others to maintain a misguided and twisted goal. In a recent interview with tabloid publication the Mirror, Roberts did not hold back in the barrage of outrageous lies he told and implied.
I have spoken to Star about the Mirror article and she told me there is not a kernel of truth in any of what Roberts said about her or Manson.
There have been no talks about raising any Manson baby with Roberts because Star says Roberts has never spoken to her and suffice to say, there has never even been a hint of a thought or anything of that sort or nature of smuggling out Manson's sperm or anything else and called the notion completely and utterly preposterous and absurd.
But if a man will lie to himself about who he is then it is no surprise he will lie to anyone about anything especially if money is the motivator.
And now you know the rest of the story.
